The Flag of Botswana
The flag of Botswana is made up of three colors. Sky Blue, white and black.
Blue is the predominant color and it represents water. The reason for this predominance is that water plays a vital role in the livelihood of Batswana. It supports cattle (a symbol of wealth) and agriculture which supports many Batswana. The importance of water is also reflected in the Botswana currency which is named "Pula". Pula means rainfall in my native language, Setswana.

The other colors of the Botswana flag are a symbol of the racial harmony between the black and white Batswana.Black representing black Batswana and white representing the white Batswana.
