Nata Lodge UpdateThe Nata lodge which was unfortunately burnt down by a fire last year is finally operating again! They opened their doors to tourists again on 1 September 2009... So if you are planning a trip to the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, Nata Sanctuary or the Makgadikgadi and Nxai National Park or just want spend a night in Nata on your way to Kasane or Maun, then you should check them out... Another good lodge is Northgate, which is conveniently placed in the heart of Nata Village. Remember that Nata lodge is about 10km from Nata when driving from Francistown..., its actually not too far from the entrance of the Nata Bird Sanctuary.
